Since the launch of its O2 Travel package – which offers a day’s worth of data (15MB) in 29 countries around Europe for £1.99 – customer usage has boomed according to the network.
But what does 1MB data get you?
O2 consumer general manager Phil Maple said: “We’ve worked with our network partners across Europe to make it more affordable for our customers to access maps, guide books, reviews and to stay in touch with those back home. It seems that travellers are embracing the digital possibilities on offer as a result.”
The O2 offer certainly presents good value for occasional users. However if like the majority of the population you average almost 1GB a month it certainly wont satisy your hunger for data!
TIP: Switch of automatic updates, otherwise they may cost you £1.99!
